The Pepperstone ATP Rankings was the historical merit-based method to determine tournament entry and seeding based on men’s tennis rankings. The power of data-driven analysis and the pursuit of making well-informed decisions are shared values that unite Pepperstone with the ATP. Similar to trading, success comes from seeing the moves, staying composed and seizing the opportunities.

From the United Cup in Australia to tournaments held across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, the tennis world witnesses the battle of champions each year. Players compete fiercely for titles and valuable Pepperstone ATP Rankings points at prestigious tournaments, including the ATP Masters 1000, 500, and 250 series.

In TMGM’s Australian Open tennis sponsorship the ‘speed serve’ was displayed as an on-court asset that engaged fans both in stadium and through the broadcast.

The brand took the on-court visibility asset to enhance its globalisation strategy.
Angelo D’Alessio, chief marketing officer at TMGM, said: “Considering speed of execution is one of our main strengths, aligning TMGM with the AO Speed Serve seemed like the perfect place for us to be, and to bring our brand to life at this major event.”

In 2021 etoro entered into sponsorship agreements with seven Premier League teams. This was the first “multi team” deal by a FX company but more innovative that the deals were all paid for in Bitcoin.

eToro UK managing director Iqbal V. Gandham stated:
“We’ve done a sponsorship deal, but rather than pay them in traditional pound notes we’ve paid them in bitcoin…. What they choose to do with that is entirely up to them.”

The eToro brand will be plastered across a number of marketing tie-ins including pitch-side (television-saavy) LED advertising boards, player access, tunnel areas, tickets and other digital rights.

Gandham hinted at an immediate use-case for cryptocurrencies in the multi-billion pound transfer market which sees Premier League clubs sign players from all over the world in transactions that would be faster, cheaper, more transparent and better facilitated with cryptocurrency than fiat pounds.

In 2021 StoneX group landed a ‘first’ in the world of sports partnerships by becoming the Naming Rights sponsor to the stadium of Premiership rugbyclub Saracens in the UK. The four-year agreement saw the club’s north London home named the StoneX Stadium at the same time as the City Index brand appearing on the front of the shirts.

“I’m delighted to announce a long-standing partnership with Saracens as both the club and StoneX have a relentless drive to achieve excellence,” said StoneX Financial’s chief executive Philip Smith.

“For both organisations, the phrase ‘pounding the rock’ is ubiquitous and is one that both our traders and Saracens players can relate to. Hard work, patience and dedication to our clients is at the core of our value proposition as a global financial services organisation.

“These values are shared by Saracens Rugby Club, and are exemplified by their high performance culture and commitment to player welfare as well as their fan base. I’m excited to see how the partnership develops over the coming months and years.”
